WEIGHT WOES

Oh boy here i go...im going to admit something to myself
2 years ago...yes it would be...i had success on weight watchers...i didnt make it to my goal weight as i fell pregnant with emily...but u know i was pretty happy with were i was that i didnt mind to much...didnt really put on that much weight while i was pregnant...11 kg or there abouts...in the grand scheme of things and pregnancy thats nothing...and by tthe time i had emily i hadn't put on weight for a month....i was left thinking im sure i will be ok and go back just like i did when i had lilly to the weight i had started my pregnancy at...umm NO!! lol

When i came home from hospital i had about 7 kg to lose...i thougth thats ok...actually thats pretty good....but i didnt do anything about it...wanted my milk to settle down and get over the c section and there were a million reasons not too...during that time my eating went from good to so bad im embrassed...usually the person who will not purchase junk food became the junk food queen...and u all know the cycle it creates...i then craved it to the point that i couldnt stop

this being that time of year and thinking about resolutions i knew i wanted to do something about my weight...but i dont like to be a satistic and fail at things so decided i wouldnt wait for the new year...i was reminded of dr phil actually who said why put soemthing off that you can start today...so that was about a week ago...i wondered just what to do...didnt really want to return to weight watchers...i hate the $16 to get on the scales and the meetings bore me to death because i know how to eat properly its just the motivation that i lack most of the time. But what to do...low gi...such a catch phrase these days....low fat not sure i believe that to be true as we need fat in our diets its just the types that matter and so good fats get left out and then we crave...so this is finally what i decided upon...the total wellbeing diet Decision one made...get the book (in the sales to woohoo) i read it that night and woke up and started as it really had a good provision for a breastfeeding mother which is still very important to me that emily get everything she needs especially as she isnt old enough for soilds yet...i didnt make a start date that i would fail...just did it...but then i wondered what happens when i dont want to be true to myself...weight watchers has that way of wanting u to behave because someone will see what you weigh....so hear gos...if the people that read this dont mind im going to use u all for that.

so this is me still in 2006...one week ago....weight 97.2 kg....(hello bridget jones hehe)
of course will lose 30 kg...but really to fit back in my clothes would be nice as im still sometimes wearing my maternity clothes all pulled in and i hate it...im generally a size 14 or 12 depends
i dont usually like to weigh during the week of a diet...but 4 days in i couldnt help myself...wanted some motivation that this could actually work and to my surprise
weight...95.8kg...i know still embrassing and i am very embrassed by what i weigh its sick...but in 4 days i have lost 1.4kg...hello biggest loser

this diet is great...i dont know how i will cope with it when i go back to work...which is still a while away but its generally a balanced diet with very little processed food involved and no processed meats so im cooking everything but thats ok...its working...i havent craved a single piece of junk food in 4 days...and i know there will come a time that i will but i plan to use something from sure silm systems that my friend uses (pricey otherwise i would be there as her diet and mine seem very similar) and thats a breakout day...every few weeks ...she is allowed one break out meal where she can eat anything she wants...i think this is important because we all like those little treats and i love eating out too..so i know what i will be using my break out for...while im on holidays!!

no im not worried about my holidays as we generally only eat bbq meat and salads while at the beach so that fits in perfectly..: )

ok thanks everyone...expect to hear from me in a week with what i hope is more really really good news...: )

wow congrates to those that made it to the bottom of this post...what a long one

random stuff

Congrats to lisa over a scrapbooking by design...the site is finally active. If you click on the link in my list that should get you there....how exciting for her right on christmas. What a present.. :) the forum is already off to a great start so pop over and say hi. The site is based in nz.

lilly had her very first dentist visit today..will share pics later on...it was all very funny and started with playing barbies with our dentist (who is a friend lol) he was so fantastic with her. If your living around my area (northlakes brisbane) northlakes family smile is open for business and troy is a fantastic dentist. Our visit ended with me in the chair which wasnt the plan lol but miss lilly insisted it be my turn next so i played the good mother and did it without a single sound lol...there r also some amusing photos of that, that you will not get to see hehe

ok..merry christmas to all if i dont post again before monday...i hope you all have a fanastic day and that santa is good to all.. :)

DECEMBER NEWSLETTER

Hi everyone
You will notice that i changed to a beta blog this month. Its all still a little new.
I have had a very busy month but it had nothing to do with scrapbooking sadly!

ONLINE CLASSES
I had two online classes in november, the second one was put off a week while we waited for stock to arrive and will go ahead this saturday. I have been busy working on this months classes as well. But we have a change to the running of classes. I usually have you pay and then send you the instructions to the kits via email. From this month you will be given access to my classroom blog once payment is recieved. The instructions for the class will be released a week before the class and be available on the classroom blog for another week afterwards. I made this change so that I can include more photos making the file overall bigger and harder to release over email only. You will be able to cut and paste the text into a word document if you choose to once its available. We will continue using the messenger for the live part of the classes.

DECEMBER CLASSES
Double page madness *1 Date: 16th Dec

Mixing things up this month with a double page layout. And looking at creating a background from paint instead of a pattern paper. We will use a mask and dry brushing in this class. A sketch will be availabe in the classroom blog from this class also. And if you would prefer papers of a particular colour with matching embellishments let me know and i can alter your kit to be green or pink depending on your photos.

Access to classroom blog and instructions : $5
Basic kit (including the heidi swapp daisy mask) : $9
Additional items: paint : $4.65
Letter kit: $25.85
Please add postage : $5

Christmas fun DATE: 9th Dec

This months second class is a christmas decoration. A beautiful wreath to hang at your front door to wish neighbours a merry christmas. This lovely wreath is so easy to get together and uses chipboard as a base.

Access to classroom blog and instructions : $5
Basic kit : $5
Please add postable : $5

January Online Class
Get ready for some fun. Sometimes January is the time for a short break or holiday and i dont know about you but i immediatly think of scrapbooking and NOW please. Because of this January Online Class will be pumped up and bluging at the sides. For just $10 you will have access to the classroom for the whole month. Your $10 will include instructions to 2 christmas layouts and other bits and pieces along the way and all end on the last weekend of january with a live summer based layout taught using msn. All kits for the layouts will be available as usual at the start of January. You could even think about giving this as a christmas gift. A gift voucher for classes would allow that person access to the classroom for the month. A printable email voucher would be sent to you to pass on as a gift. January newsletter will go out towards the end of December but I will be accepting bookings to the January online classes from tomorrow. But the classroom for January will not be active until the 1st of that month. Sneak peaks of the ideas to come....: )

Selling now
Basic Grey LillyKate and Gypsy $1.50 reduced to $1.40
or a surprise pack of 4 papers for $5.50

Remember that I will available to teach in your home to your friends. You only need 5 friends for me to come out to you. Queensland based of course. It costs $10 which includes the papers used in the class. The shop comes with me for the day as well as cutters and tools for you all to use.

And even thou dan is tired and sore from starting the landscaping (u will notice we still have a long long way to go) he went out there with her this morning and sat in the sandpit just because she asked him to...so sweet.

OUR FIRST NEWSLETTER - september

We are up and going finally. September marks the start of this new adventure for me into the world of scrapbooking as a business instead of just a hobby. A bit about me ive been scrapbooking for nearly 6 years and my main subjects are my children, family and sometimes myself. I have been teaching classes in stores and on line during 2005/2006 and have been a member of the scrappit design team during that time also. I have been published in for keeps and scrapbook creations. But thats enough about me.

Through scrapanalia I will now be able to offer scrapbooking classes in your home or mine. And i kick off the month and start my little adventure with a crop in brisbane where i will have scrapbooking supplies for sale.

We will be offering classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced scrappers so that workshops and classes suit everyone.

Currently I have in stock supplies from the basic grey and chatterbox 2006 release of papers, collections chipboard, heidi swapp chipboard and paints, maya road ribbons, a large collection of pattern papers and bazzil cardstock colours, versa color inks and much more.

If you live locally (brisbane)and would like to host a workshop the hostess does recieve some incentives like the hosted workshop and the next for free plus 10% of the total sales for the workshop in supplies once the total is more than $100.

As a celebration for the start of my business at the end of september I will be hosting a free crop night in my home for new customers. You will have the chance to simply scrap, socialize, met new people from our local area and enjoy being able to purchase supplies during the night. As well as having me on hand to answer questions, do demonstrations and lead in a small make and take. On the night you may also like to be challenged by the sketch comp with a small prize pack of scrapanalia products. Invitations will be sent out soon.

Until next month when we will take a closer look at some of the classes on offer enjoy your scrapping
